Offend or Frustrate?

Change is offensive. It makes sentimental people go crazy. It’s always been that. They like it that way. It was that when they were a kid. So when you try to repair it, you ruin it. Fixing it actually breaks it.

On the other hand…

Inertia is frustrating. It makes innovative people go away. Things left broken only lead to greater tolerance for brokenness, and brokenness, or burt outness, or dirtiness, or bad design-ness, or we’ve always done it this way-ness, is radioactive to key people.

Solution: Offend and move on.

The offended people will get over it.

The frustrated people will take their energy to your competition.
